?We present a book entitled Project Management in Public Administration. The Case of Metropolis GZM. The monograph concerns an important task which is project management as an element of organization management system and a factor that will ensure an efficiency increase of an organization as a whole. Efficiency is a criterion that is increasingly more frequently used for the evaluation of a public organization's operativity. Efficient and effective functioning of such an organization is very significant for economic and social development. Not only private but also public entrepreneurships should keep focus on improving policies that will enhance their own activities. (...) We hope that our book will be a source of precious knowledge both for independent experts on self-governments and practitioners: local and regional authorities, self-governmental and independent officials, all being interested in the topic of project management in self-government administration.
