Ten album jest bardziej 'mroczny' niż poprzednik i z pewnością mniej zabawny, lecz nie bez wielkich utworów, które w większości pojawiły się jako single. Najważniejszym utworem jest rozpoczynający album, znany "Seven Nation Army". Jest on również największym hitem do tej pory. Utwór jest wspaniały wykonywany na żywo. Jack w tym utworze nie wykorzystał gitary basowej lecz swojego pół-akustycznego Kay Hollowbody'ego z lat 50' co dało genialny efekt. Jest również tutaj piękny 'Little Acorns' rozpoczynający się od słów 68-letniego DJ'a z Detroit, Mort Crim. Chcecie więcej, utwór "In The Cold, Cold Night" prezentuje pierwszy raz lead vocal przez Meg White! Trzeci singiel z tego krążka "The Hardest Button To Button" jest wręcz powalający.
